CLASSIC IN VITRO FERTILIZATION (IVF)

IVF is a complex process, consisting of many individual stages.

Before the start of the program, the couple is informed extensively about the parameters of the specific method.

Thus, the couple receives essential information about the necessary laboratory testing, the medication to be followed as well as the overall program to be implemented.

FERTILITY – SOLUTIONS

The problem of infertility occurs frequently and is chronic.

The percentage is constantly growing in recent years and internationally 15% of couples face difficulty in conceiving in general, or in conceiving the desired number of children, according to estimates by the World Health Organization (WHO).

Ejaculation

Many times, when investigating infertility in couples who cannot conceive, no cause of infertility is found.

The fallopian tubes are passable and the sperm count is within normal limits in terms of motility and morphology.

In these couples, where we cannot detect any cause, we can use, before in vitro fertilization, which is also the last resort, insemination, the classic IUI or the IUI-FSP method.

This is a particularly effective method, during which the woman receives, on the one hand, smaller amounts of drugs compared to in vitro fertilization, and on the other hand, she suffers a lower psychological and financial burden.

CRYOPRETATION OF EGGS

Fertility forever, whenever we want and not because we have to.

One of the most important areas in reproductive medicine is the preservation of fertility in women of all ages. The modern progress of science has changed the rules of modern medicine and especially those of assisted reproduction with egg freezing.

HUMAN OOCYTE CRYOPRESERVATION

This technique of oocyte preservation has developed to enable women who do not achieve pregnancy during their most fertile years. Medical problems or other social situations ie career, are common reasons for a woman to postpone pregnancy. In such occasions oocyte cryopreservation is the solution.

GIFT OF HOURS

Egg donation is carried out at the IVF departments of Iasos, Rhea Obstetrics Clinic as well as at the Athens Medical Center always in collaboration with the Reproduction Doctor Ioannis Kalogirou.
